Best of Clerkenwell Design Week - Part 3
As I promised you a couple of weeks ago, here is the last and final part of this year's Clerkenwell Design Week - the Detail Movement cut - my selection of this design festival's best bits! If you missed the first 2 parts, here is the first part and second part of this amazing annual event and also, you can have a look at what was on last year. You know me, I'm all about sharing only the best goodies with you (and one can do it in only so many photos).
So in this part, I am sharing some of my favourite new discoveries!! These beautiful and gorgeous new products really deserve to be discovered by as many people as possible! So without any more introduction, let's begin!
PIN ME FOR LATER!
While strolling in one of the Festival's exhibitions, my eyes fell on this gorgeous Muse Chair designed by the lovely Giovanna Ticciati. I must admit that I was start struck by the chair's fabric (which was also sourced by Giovanna) more than anything. Imagine my surprise when I found out that if you wish to buy any of her design pieces, not only do you get a wonderful design, but you also get her dedicated time and effort into finding a unique fabric to match her designs. It's a win-win I would say.
A beautiful surprise this year was the High Nest collection from + HALLE. Versatile, fun and inviting, the collection appeals to the playful side of the visitors. Why have meetings the normal way, when you can literally climb up high and see the world from a different angle?
Another Country is a company that make beautiful contemporary craft furniture and accessories. What attracted my attention was their Working Desk Series that not only looked incredibly lush but also had this well-thought-out details. Not to mention their lovely stools and benches.

Another amazing find at this year's Clerkenwell Design Festival was the Friends & Founders. Clearly visible, high quality and aesthetics are the front runner concepts for this brand. They have a very interesting "Favourite Spot" philosophy to their hole design approach; I recommend reading more about it here.
A smart, clean and sophisticated look is how I would describe JORI's products. As they advertise themselves - the art of fine seating (and perhaps living - but that remains to be tested out). I especially loved the Hortense Desk and the Lagom Chairs (I would have taken them home in a heartbeat)!
A beautiful find among the many high-end brands of this year's show. Simple furniture, beautifully made, instant fit for any household. And the best part is that not only do they specialise in kitchens, but they make amazing ceramic tableware and CERAMIC PENDANT LIGHTS. Yup, you've heard me right.
A Swedish Furniture Company that creates some amazing pieces for both residential and the public sector. With a history of over 70 years of beautiful designs under their belt, Swedese peaked my interest with some interesting pieces (obviously). For example the Wood and Button Sofas, the Pond side tables and the Baffi wall accessory/wall art. I don't know which one I would take home if I had the chance to only grab one piece. Which one would you choose?
Last but not least, this beautiful outdoor line of furniture. There aren't many choices out there when it comes to outdoor pieces (from my point of view) so this beauty was truly a wonderful discovery.
So there you have it detail lovers, my complete review of Clerkenwell Design Week 2017. I am really surprised by the number of newcomers present this year. So many beautiful products, ideas and concepts on display. That's why I love this festival. I love it for its never-ending flow of ideas and inspiration. Can only imagine what next year will bring. Ahh, cannot wait!!
