Detail Movement Interiors is an Edinburgh-based boutique interior design studio specialising in intentional residential interiors. The studio’s philosophy is that people can thrive in the right spaces and that interiors can become a helpful tool in that evolution.
The studio’s design aesthetic is a beautiful blend of contemporary and Scandinavian styles with sophisticated colours and fabrics. We prioritise an intentional, curated, and slow approach to creating unique spaces for our clients. Our designs are respectful, comfortable and understated, with craftsmanship at the forefront of every project.

Ask A Designer (Online Design Consultation)

A 1:1 online call where we can talk about any design problems you are having, followed up by a bespoke report that includes everything we’ve talked about.
You can also use this call to get my eyes on your project. I.e. if you want a second opinion on your floor plan, to avoid potential issues with your project later down the line.
For those that don’t feel comfortable with online calls, or simply don’t have the time for one, the consultation can also be done in written format, via email.

A single payment of £250, paid in advance.

Between 5 - 7 days for the follow-up report (after our online call), depending on the complexity of your design issues.

If you want a more personalised, bespoke and in-depth design for a home that represents your personality, then this is the service for you.
Available for one or more rooms transformation, or the whole property.

To make sure I offer you the best design service that you need, a bespoke quote will be created based on your project needs.
To give you an idea, prices would start from £2500 (for single room projects).

Projects start from a minimum of 3 months.
For renovation projects, please do get in touch at least 3-6 months before you plan to start your project or reach out to builders.
